RIC#80 And its a YES to Nonoo!!

Hi Everyone,

So today I made a card for a friend who is graduating this May. I was inspired by the RIC#80 and i made this card for her.

NONOO

So her dress inspired me to do a galaxy of  stars… and it matched with the sentiment that i had.

I have never done water color painting before and so this was my first time. But i practiced a lot of times until i got this  result..)

Technique:

I used the water color paper and made it moist using the paint brush and water and then i took a lot of blue color on the brush and just made dots around on the top and dragged it across and towards the corners and it just did all the work for me.. for the corners and some space between i used black water color and then used a little orange and yellow and in 2 -3 strokes  just spread it at the bottom..and towards the end i had some acrylic white paint i dipped it in a toothbrush and with a pointing finger just sprinkled it across the paper for the star like effect.

Once it was all dried up i used the martha stewart all over page punch and punched it  and then i heat embossed the sentiment on the white card stock with a blue embossing powder and colored the star with an orange color pencil

i placed a sheet of foil on a black card stock which is my card base and then put the foam dots on the back of my painting and stuck it on the foil and that finished the look of my card.I used the Hampton arts stamp set.

A close up of the card. Please leave me a comment if you liked it..
